Creative Locale is an online platform for Artists, Artisans and Designers to display and sell their artworks to the public.

ALL our artists are pre-vetted by other creatives. You can be assured that by buying from them you are actively supporting a local artist who has genuinely designed and made the piece.

When you purchase an artwork from this site your contract is between yourself and the artist.

All the sellers’ delivery details, product descriptions, refund policies are to be found in their individual online shops. Please read them carefully as they will all differ slightly.

Do I need an account to place an order?2020-08-20T10:06:10+00:00

No. You can place your order as a guest. While placing an order, you will have an opportunity to log in if you already have a customer account with us. If not, you can proceed as a guest by filling out your address.

Will I receive an order confirmation?2020-08-20T10:07:10+00:00

Yes. After you have completed your online order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

How long will it take to receive my order?2020-08-20T10:11:45+00:00

As all artists use different couriers, delivery times may differ. Please check the relevant online shop for details. The cost of delivery (UK only) and VAT is included on all items listed.

Note: for bespoke items, delivery will be advised by the artist.

For all overseas deliveries please contact the relevant artist to discuss costs.

Yes. You can cancel your order you need to do this direct with the artist. Please go back to their online shop for their contact details. The artist will refund you.

Currently, we do not have a brick and mortar store. We occasionally run “pop-up” events with our artists. Details appear on this web site from time to time.

Yes. We do not process any payments on the web site. You will be redirected to  STRIPE by SSL connection – this is where your payment is made. No credit or debit card details are held on the site.

Note: all pages and contents on creative locale are SSL protected

Whilst we are not party to the transaction, we may try to help users resolve disputes.

Where a buyer and artist are unable to resolve a dispute resulting from a transaction that occurred on the platform, they may resort to us by contacting us at hello@creativelocale.co.uk

All returns and refunds are handled direct with your artist. Your contract is direct with them.

You have 14 days in which to notify the artist of your request to cancel the order, starting the day after the goods have been received. Please check the artist’s terms and conditions before making a purchase to avoid disappointment on their shop page.

If the goods are eligible for a return and refund, they must be returned to the artist within 14 days of your notification of cancellation. We recommend that proof of postage be obtained. The items must be returned in their original undamaged packaging and labels, together with any accessories, booklets or marketing materials.

If the goods have been handled unnecessarily, other than to establish their nature, character and function, you will be liable for any diminished value, which will be deducted by the merchant from the reimbursement.

We have the right to decline or cancel any orders placed where prices or information appear to be incorrect, due to typographical error or otherwise, whether or not the order has been confirmed. In case such cancellation occurs after your credit card was charged, we will issue an immediate and full refund for the transaction amount to the payment method used.

Are my details safe, if I register for an account?

Yes, we do not share your details with any third party. Your details can be removed at any time, simply by emailing us at hello@creativelocale.co.uk

What is Stripe?2020-09-03T08:20:00+00:00

Stripe is a quick and secure way for Creative Locale artists to accept credit and debit card payments from customers all across the world.  Stripe handles billions of transactions every year and is used by Asos, Spotify and Facebook – among others.

Buyers only need their normal debit or credit card and do not need to create a Stripe account.

Creative Locale does collect or store customer credit/debit card details on its server.  Customers credit card transactions are processed directly with Stripe.
