On one of my walks I saw these strange round leaves mixed in with the brambles. We have a tall elegant Tulip Tree (Liriodendron Tulipifera). It was there when we bought the house 30 years ago and has now been released into the sun (our Lawson Cyprus trees all suddenly died, which was very sad, but it has now made our garden much sunnier) so I've been photographing our Tulip Tree continuously over the last year, a silent companion, and it's the inspiration behind this digital artwork. One of those amazing moments, driving through Richmond Park in high summer in late afternoon, suddenly seeing a whole herd of deer congregating in the small river to cool off. Car parked and out came the camera to catch the warm light reflecting in the water and this stag looking straight at me wondering why I don’t jump in and join them. I live on a hill with views towards Windsor and the setting sun. In spring and autumn the sunsets are stunning and I just can’t get enough of them. This photo was taken from my window, when our huge Willow had shed all its leaves and the great golden orb of the sun was trapped for a spit second by the bare branches…and of course some digital art thrown in.
