The smoke has really worked its magic on the surface of this Moon Jar.
The Moon Jar has terra sigillata applied to the surface, and has been smoke fired. The surface has soaked up the smoke, leaving swirls of smoky tones.
Handbuilt from white earthenware clay, standing approx 23cm tall and 23cm dia.
Please note the Moon Jar is not glazed and therefore is not suitable for use with liquids
