Tom started street photography as a personal photography project a few years ago and fell in love with the genre. It’s a style of photography that enables him to wander the streets looking for entirely natural scenes and relies on observation, imagination and speed to capture those decisive and random moments.
Unlike his professional work, which demands constant planning with expensive camera, lenses and lights, street photography only needs a small discreet camera and the ability to see something compelling.
Tom has been a professional photographer for seven years. He runs Food Envy Photography which specialises in food photo and video content (www.foodenvy.photography) and has worked with clients across the food industry spectrum, from small independent manufacturers and restaurants to large food and wine distributors and celebrated chefs.
He is also runs a specialist headshot studio (www.pureheadshots.com) working with actors and corporate clients across the UK.
